Titled Bloody Whiskers, the two main additions that the expansion introduces are a new post-game questline that sees out Rat King Redgi duke it out against the realm’s deadliest warriors to prove he is the real deal, and two new difficulties – the mega challenging Bloody Whiskers difficulty and the less brutal Fairy Tail difficulty. Default difficulty is fine, also requires you to learn the boss attack patterns as they hit pretty hard. However, even with heavier armor enemy attacks can do quite a lot of damage. Start on the hardest difficulty if you care for all the achievements or you'll have to replay the whole game again from the beginning. Unlike most soulslikes, Tails of Iron doesn’t have a stamina bar. Tails of Iron is a wonderful little game that recently nabbed a free update, dubbed Bloody Whiskers, which adds new difficulty modes, new bosses, and a new quest chain to the already decently. Don’t let the animal characters fool you, howeverTails of Iron is incredibly brutal, and features bloody combat that is pretty difficult.
